I moved to Antigua to start a new beginning for myself at a time when I really was losing hope in my life. What inspired me the most was the change in environment and better quality of life and better foods.

The thing that was stopping me the most from moving was my own self-limiting thoughts and fear. At times, I often felt like I couldn’t do it or I wouldn’t be brave enough to move but I overcame this and did it anyway!

I was led to work with Amber as she is a big inspiration in my life and I admired her love to travel and live her life freely as a Black woman.

Where I moved was a perfect fit for me because it was always a place I wanted to live and was familiar with. Living here has brought me many opportunities and experiences in my life.

Antigua is an amazing place to live, the weather is great, and the food is very nutritious and not GMO, mainly homegrown. The people are friendly and welcoming. They are many forms of entertainment like bars, clubs, and Carnival. I love the atmosphere.

The challenge I have is that the quality of roads is not the best but the amazing beaches make up for it!

Moving abroad has had a positive impact on my life. It has made me more confident when talking to people and making friends it has also brought me new skills like cooking and organization.

If you are looking to move abroad, don’t allow yourself to talk yourself out of it! Feel the fear and do it anyway!

Next, I am looking to expand my business and add more skills to my services for my clients. I am also looking to visit the small islands near my island and continue exploring!
